Hello everybody (or the few that may be reading this). I've decided to try this blogging thing, to sort of chronicle the different things I do with my 3 kids. I'm making my sister get involved as well because she spends as much time with them as I do and I dont want to leave anything out! My main reason is so they have something to look back on when they're older and I can say "see! I did keep a scrap book!" I'm totally new at this And if it weren't for my cousin (shout out to Caitlin Rustemeyer) I'd still be googling "how to start a blog".
So first things first. Allow me to introduce myself and my peeps.
My name is Kari. PROUD mother of 3. Two boys and a princess. (honestly it always annoyed me when parents referred to their daughters as "princesses" but she's my baby girl and has two rotten brothers, she's my princess!) My husband is a coal miner which translates into "rarely home" and also serves in the National Guard. So that leaves lots of time for me and my younger sister, Stacey to hang out with the kids.
Speaking of my little masterpieces...let's meet them.
Gabriel Isaac:
That's him, up there with the serious look on his face. My first born. Gabe is 10 years old and his hobbies include: Video Games, Computer games, You Tube watching, football, reading, and swimming. Gabe is my little intellectual. He puts about 5 minutes of his time a week into doing homework, and never gets below an A. And to be fair, usually the 5 minutes he puts in, consists of him saying "Mom sign this and send in money." I'm hoping to have Gabe contribute to this blog, in some manner.... I won't hold my breath. lol
Brady Maddox:
OHHHHH, Brady. Where do I start with my 6 year old stud muffin? Brady has enough personality in our family to cover for all of us. He's never met a stranger, aims to please, loves to entertain, and does so quite successfully on a daily basis. Brady enjoys video games, music, sports, hunting/fishing, and fine dining. My little guy would prefer a nice sushi roll, or medium rare steak to a happy meal any day. I'm quite certain Brady will be contributing to the blog, in some way or another. Like I said, he aims to please.
Norah Macey:
There she is. My baby girl. Almost 4 months old and she's already in charge. Honestly, I don't know if its the fact that I'm 30 years old with an infant, rather than 20, and 24, but this girl is EASY compared to my boys. She's so pleasant and never complains. Also it could be the fact that she has 3 men in this house wrapped around her finger. Stacey has made sure she has a wardrobe complete with "My aunt rocks, My aunt is the best, I'd rather be with my aunt" themed clothing. You'll know if she is posting any pictures on here, by Norah's outfit. Guaranteed.
Well there they are. The reason I'm attempting this blog thing. I hope to post often, but keep in mind, I have 3 kids. Gabe will be starting football next week, Brady will start flag football soon after, And my sister and I both are in nursing school and work full time! So when they're not with one of us, they're with the other (And Stacey lives with our parents to they get some credit too).
